Bossa Lovin’

Bossa Nova…It is a style of Brazilian music created by Antonio Carlos Jobim and João Gilberto. The music derives from samba but with more melodic and harmonic complexity and less emphasis on percussion. Quincy Jones and Sergio Mendez are few of the artists who perform Bossa Nova, and here in the Philippines, we have Agot Isidro and Sitti Navarro.
Last October 21st, I enjoyed watching Sitti’s show here in Pampanga. It was a nice experience…the songs that Sitti sang are all good and it’s just soo nice watching her on stage…nice smile, nice voice, and nice type of music. The rhythm would really make your body move…I personally loved Sitti’s performance of “Lança Perfume”, “Para Sa Akin”, “Bridges” and her rendition of D’Sound’s “Tattooed on my Mind”.
I am definitely lovin’ Sitti Navarro now…lovin’ Bossa Nova music!!!
