A friend saw my recent blog and I found out that he also likes Bossa music. He asked me to tell more about Sitti…I feel an article being cooked here…hehehe…well, here are few things that you need to know about my fave artist now…Sitti Navarro. =)

Sitti Navarro or simply Sitti, who’s only in her early twenties, is one of the best young Filipino artists that we have now. As early as the age of sixteen, Sitti had been performing gigs at different bars. In 2004, MTV Philippines started “MTV Supahstar: D’ Super Search”, where Sitti was one of the winners. This led her to sign a contract with Warner Music Philippines.

Sitti graduated from the University of the Philippines in April 2005 with a degree in Business Economics. She was also editor-in-chief of the school paper and valedictorian in her high school days. Aside from a being a singer/performer, Sitti also won several beauty pagents which includes Miss Visayas 2001 and Miss Travel Girl Pageant.

Currently, Sitti has two albums out in the market…Café Bossa and Sitti:Live!…which are definitely a must have. Good voice, good rhythm, cool music.
