Into the Twilight
November 3, 2008 by Ame Solitaire
I just finished reading the novel “Twilight” by Stephenie Meyer and I loved it soo much! Actually, I wasn’t really interested with it at first, because number one, it’s a teeny-bopper novel and then it has sequels…so I’m gonna be reading a lot…which I didn’t intend to do in the coming weeks. The copy of the novel was given to me by my colleague almost a month ago and I never really paid too much attention to it…I had a lot of things going on in my mind. My interest in it aroused when my friend, Poks and his friend from work were talking about how the story is soo beautiful. They mentioned the names of the characters, Edward and Bella. “Nice names.”, I thought to myself and continued to listen to them. They mentioned how Edward is soo enchanting and how the story in the sequels are good. So when I got home, I started reading the novel and couldn’t stop anymore. It took me 4 days to finish this 24-chapter novel. Take note, I’m reading the novel in a pdf file that my colleague sent me…so I have to be in front of my computer to read this. Anyways, about the novel…Twilight is actually a story of a 17-year old girl and a vampire who fell in love with each other. I like the way the vampires were described in the story, especially, Edward. I could imagine how handsome he would be. Also, the little twists that the author made with the beliefs that we have for vampires. I just love how the author conveyed in the story that if you love someone, no matter who or what he/she is, you would accept him/her and that you would do anything, even though it means risking your own life, just for this person you love. I’m off to reading the sequel of the book, “New Moon” and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. And by the way, “Twilight” is now a movie and it’s gonna be released on November 21st…I’ll definitely watch this one…And the actor who’s gonna star as Edward is none other than Robert Pattinson, the guy who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter.

Here are the other books that I will be reading soon:
